First task

We were tasked to make a phone stand with Fusion 360. I took some pictures along the way so you can follow along!! Scroll down to see more on my pretty little phone stand!!💟👇

1. I made a rough sketch with the idea I had in mind.👇💭

2. I proceeded to add some dimensions to make it look better.📏👇

Figure 2: dimensions all created

3. I finished my sketch. I proceeded to extrude my whole sketch by 150 mm, as my phone is about 150mm long.👇📱

Figure 3: extruding the phone stand

4. I did filleting by 1.5mm ,and 4mm only for the inside edges where my phone will be placed on, on all the sharp edges except the base, so that it will not hurt anyone or my precious phone 😪👇.

5. Finally I decorated my phone stand , by adjusting the properties. Isn't it so pretty, i cant even its so pretty👇😍😍.

Fusion 360 actually helped me to give me a hint of how the product will actually look like, before it comes to live. This will for sure help me in the future when I am making my chemical product with my teammates.

Reflection:

This task was actually quite challenging as we had to use our own imagination to come up with a suitable phone stand. There were many things that I had to take into account such as not scratching the phone as well as how well the phone should fit inside the phone stand. From this activity I actually learnt to explore more about the software and let my imagination go wild. I also had difficulties to make the sketch as i did forget some of the steps on how to make a sketch. But I managed to finish the sketch and make it come alive in my fusion 360. In a whole, this activity was fun but challenging. i cant wait to learn more about this software more in detail. I am also looking forward to using this software for my future projects.

LOOK AT MY EMBEDDED VERSION OF MY PHONE STAND!! HOPE U ENJOYY~~
